Merve Çelenk

Founder

Merve Çelenk is the founder of MC Projects & Consulting. Over more than 15 years, she has gained professional experience in project management, protocol, and public-sector and institutional stakeholder relations. Her experience across institutional, agency and on-site roles underpins an approach that considers an organisation’s objectives alongside a project’s operational and delivery requirements.

Through her roles at DEİK and TÜRSAB, agency work and independent consultancy, she has worked with public institutions, diplomatic missions, international organisations and private-sector teams. Her responsibilities have included inter-institutional communication and official participation, as well as coordination of creative and technical teams, suppliers and on-site teams.

Her experience spans international forums, official programmes, country and destination promotion, exhibition participation, and arts, cultural and sports projects. In previous roles, she held responsibilities in preparation, coordination, team management and on-site delivery for large-scale programmes including the G20 Antalya Summit, TEKNOFEST and EuroLeague Final Four.

Working on projects with different participant profiles, protocol requirements, production processes and on-site conditions has given her a broad perspective on the relationship between strategic decisions and practical delivery. Tailored consultancy and protocol training complement this experience.

Volunteer Work

Alongside her professional work, MC Projects & Consulting founder Merve Çelenk has taken part in volunteer initiatives at different stages of her career. Following the earthquakes of 6 February 2023, she established a personal support network for Hatay.

Since March 2024, the initiative has provided essential supplies to families and organised visits and activities with children in temporary container settlements and villages. Funded through individual contributions, the work has covered identifying local needs, sourcing supplies, preparation and on-site delivery, in coordination with local volunteers and specialists. Support continues in response to local needs.
